UNOFFICIAL OFFICIAL 200LB+ CLUB 

For years now many other states have honored and recognized the accomplishment of harvesting a 200+ pound deer. Now it's Massachusetts time to have its very own 200lb deer club where you can be recognized for your amazing achievement!

(UNFORTUNATELY THIS WONT BE RETRO ACTIVE TO YEARS PRIOR) 

 

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE ENTERING YOUR HARVEST:

THERE IS A $10.00 PROCESSING FEE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS. YOU CAN PAY HERE ALONG WITH AN ENTRY FORM. PLEASE SEND IT TO BOWHUNTMA@GMAIL.COM OR MAIL OR TO BOWHUNTMASS P.O BOX 138, BRIMFIELD, MA 01010

 

1. All legal Massachusetts licensed hunters are eligible for the MASSIVE bucks of MASS 200LB+ club.

2. Hunters aged 17 or under are eligible.

3. Deer may be taken from Massachusetts private or public hunting grounds . Deer taken from Private hunting clubs or outfitters are NOT eligible for awards. 

4. Deer must be harvested using legal ARCHERY hunting methods as specified by Massachusetts hunting regulations.

5. No buck known to have been shot by anyone other than applicant him/herself will qualify.

6. The minimum dressed weight must be 200 pounds without heart, lungs, liver, stomach or intestines. (This would mean live weight of slightly more than 250 pounds, on the average.)

7. All entries must be accompanied by a minimum of 1 photo of the hunter with the deer and their archery equipment (bow/crossbow) in the picture. There will be NO exceptions to this rule. One photo with the hunter, deer and bow in the photo or it won't count. (1) 1 full shot showing the hunter, the deer and his hunting equipment in the same photo. (2) A clear, straight on photo/video showing the deer on the scale (3) A close-up, legible photo/video of the scale weight. The photo must display the entire weight.   3 photos total! 

8. All entries: (Along with your photo) You must complete the entry form and send it to bowhuntma@gmail.com after completion.
9. Completed affidavits and all required photos must be submitted by January 10th of the following year. Online submissions are encouraged for faster processing.

10. All photos must be original and unedited. Photos that have been altered in any way, imported into photo-editing software, or otherwise changed from their original form will not be accepted.

11. All photos or images associated with the program, including those submitted by hunters, become the property of Bowhuntmass. Names of hunters and images may be used in publications, promotional materials, or for other non-commercial use.

12. Bowhuntmass reserves the right to change or modify the program rules at any time. All decisions by Bowhuntmass are final.

13.  Above all else, have fun! Don't change the way you hunt for an award, no matter where it is. If you see a deer that you want to shoot that is going to make you happy then, by all means, shoot it. Don't worry about what people will think. We're all bowhunters and we should all support each other's decisions on what type of animals we choose to harvest, regardless of size or age.
